Must be the day before they get their paycheck, surely. One of them runs a pharmacy in the safe zone and the other one is a weapons dealer. Wowsies.Īlright, back to our usual grind, where we pick shit up 20 meters ahead of the trader and sell it to them. Second of all, when you get to the traders, you'll be blown away by the astounding stock of pregnancy tests and pills (10 per entry) in the safe zone, and some ammo at the other trader. Well what if we think of this as a sandbox perspective? If the game doesn't give us any goals to achieve how about making our own?įirst order of business: let's go to the swamp and max the traders there, the dev even removed one of the traders, surely it's some meta OP hotspot with all the gameplay goodies?įirst of all, if you don't ignore scavs on the way there, you are probably 80% full inventory-wise. No extra quests, no extra enemies, nothing. In a 5-ish runs you can already max the trader with the good and tried method of buying junk from vendors and instantly selling it back instantly. The most efficient way to gain money now is to exit the hideout, go around the back to the trader, kill ~5 scavs in the vicinity, sell their shit, go back to hideout to reset the trader and the free loot delivery employees, rince, repeat. Now hear me out, the basic gameplay loop is kill shit -> loot shit -> sell shit -> back to step 1. The whole map is now connected and the hideout is it's own location, not just a random FOB you go to between raids, just what the Tarkov wanted but never implemented because they actually thought about how it's going to play out. The dev just takes what was working fine and tries to fiddle with it, making it way worse, for the illusion of progress in these updates. It's not even 2 steps forward, one step back in recent updates, it's basically just a step back. It's basicly Tarkov at home, without cheaters and very early in development.Ĭlick to expand. It was, back when there were dummies hovering on the map instead of AI and a couple of builds after, but not anymore. But the biggest strenght in this game is gunplay which is fun, responsive, exciting and brutal. Most sex scenes are unpleasant/meh, i don't really like tentacles, hoovercraft is just stupid, the maps are connected instead being completely separeted with a way to choose one in hideout, all the boxes are the same, u basicly have one gun with multiple different gauges instead of separate guns and so on. Sorry mate but if you call yourself FPS veteran and u are getting dunked on without god mode, then you have to change your favourite genre of games.ĭon't get me wrong, i hate a lot of things in this game. Don't ever repick from the same position cuz raiders will know exactly where you are, use your headphones to get their position without even looking and they won't even shoot you. Gun is jamming? Maybe repair some parts or stop going full auto on raiders. I didn't have any problem to basicly smash whole map and come back to trader for more ammo/better mods. Every single ammo in the game has its own statistics and works for flesh, armour, distance, speed etc. You don't need most expensive ammo, you just have to use correct ammo. It was clear at the start, that this is a Tarkov knock off with porn in it. Might have gotten some if it had porn in it though.Ĭlick to expand.Holy cow mate, just calm down. But they hardly got any financial interest. At least there the gunplay actually works. Like you want another solo developer FPS, that has no porn in it? Go try out the Ghostship games, like the newest one Ghostship Chronicles. If the porn wasn't in the game, probably no one would look at Delta Zone, as its just another poorly designed shooter on the market, but people give it a pass because it has porn in it. But they look at you and fire once, and you are dead basically. Like seriously, you stun a Corporate and dump an entire clip of highest quality ammo, with a full composite gun, in their face at point blank range and they don't die. Enemies have infinite ammo, are aimbots at a range of 200 meters, and often don't die to a headshot with quality ammo. Like sure I've played games with gun jamming, ie AVP Classic 2000, or Fallout 3 (if you fired a gun with 20% or lower durability it would frequently jam) but this game takes it to an unreasonable extreme. But with cheats on, even if it jams, hey, I got god mode on so I don't get instant-killed when I try to unjam it. There is nothing challenging with a gun that jams every 2nd or 3rd bullet. I'm a veteran FPS player and most of the mechanics are just there to screw with the player rather than add challenge. I've played most of the builds, and most of the time need to play with cheats, because the gunplay is not well designed. Wouldn't be surprised if its still barely unplayable in 2 years time. Its why most of the gameplay bugs haven't been addressed.
